The Shoreham and Southwick u3a brings people together to learn, laugh, and live later life to the full. Led entirely by members, Shoreham and Southwick u3a provides lower cost opportunities to discover, share and make lasting friendships. If you've stepped away from full time work, join our u3a and connect with others through the things you love. With 700 members and 70 interest groups, there is sure to be something for you.

Learn with others

Learning together, and from each other, is what u3a is all about. Everything we do is member-led, and member-run, so the opportunities are endless.

Laugh with friends

This is learning with a difference. There are no teachers and students, no classes and no exams. We offer interest groups and activities; it is all done just for fun with lots of laughter along the way. As a volunteer movement, we all take it in turns to share our skills and knowledge with each other.

Live for the moment

With u3a, retirement is just the beginning. We know it can feel lonely when you move to a new area or find yourself living alone in later life. By connecting with others through the things you love, you can rebuild your network and find your community.
